For twenty years I've built digital products that people use every day. I started by writing the code. Then I learned to lead the people who write it. Today I decide what gets built, and why, for international teams across five European cities.

One monogram, three chapters
From the pointer, to the people, to the product.
My career has moved from hands‑on engineering to leading teams and owning a product. The shapes in my MA monogram move with it. Pick a stage to see it change.

International teams
One product. Five cities.
Since joining my current company in 2019, the people I build with have been spread across Stockholm, London, Gibraltar and Madrid, and more recently Paris: engineers, designers and business stakeholders with different languages, cultures and habits of working.
I keep them pulling in one direction with a single, visible backlog, clear priorities and written context that travels well. And I make sure every city has a voice in what we build next.

Product ManagerOwning the Sportsbook backlog across native apps, web and backend.
I decide what the Sportsbook teams build and in what order. I gather requirements from business stakeholders across the group, turn them into clear, ranked priorities, and give distributed engineering teams the context they need to ship with confidence. Having written apps myself, I can talk trade‑offs with engineers as easily as I talk growth with the business.
Own the backlog for iOS and Android native apps, web and backend services
Collect product requirements and prioritise them against value, effort and risk
Identify growth areas and new opportunities for the product
Measure how the product evolves release after release
Oversee development from discovery to production
Act as the link between business stakeholders and development teams
Help define the Sportsbook product strategy and the next wave of features
Keep teams in five cities aligned on one roadmap

03/2020 — 03/2021 · MY CURRENT COMPANY
Technical LeadThe year my job became the team's output, not my own code.
Leading an engineering team meant keeping delivery steady. I gave technical direction, planned and distributed the work, and protected the team's focus so it could keep shipping to production.
Provided technical guidance and day‑to‑day support to the team
Drove the team's deliveries all the way to production
Planned and distributed work using agile practices
Continuously improved ways of working and processes
Assessed and communicated risks early so deadlines were met
Kept motivation high and the team focused on its goals
Made sure we collaborated well with other teams across the group
Supported line managers with feedback and performance reviews
02/2019 — 03/2020 · MY CURRENT COMPANY
iOS EngineerJoining a multinational online betting and gaming group with brands in markets across Europe.
I joined my current company to build the Casino and Sports apps and the shared frameworks they run on. It was an international engineering team, where code reviews, stand‑ups and architecture discussions spanned several countries.

Built and maintained the company's shared iOS frameworks
Designed solutions around proven design patterns and good practices

Mobile Technical Project ManagerMany teams and providers, one retail app.
At one of Spain's largest supermarket chains, the mobile apps were built by several external providers. My role was to make them work as one team: coordinating departments and vendors, reviewing every iOS and Android delivery, and keeping quality and deadlines on track.
Coordinated internal teams, departments and external providers to hit deadlines
Reviewed and approved native iOS and Android code delivered by providers
Protected app quality and stability before every release
Helped the team estimate the effort of new features
Recruited and hired new engineers for the team

Mobile Technical ManagerSetting the quality bar for a newsroom's in‑house apps.
Unidad Editorial publishes some of Spain's best‑known media brands, including El Mundo, Marca and Expansión. When the company built its own mobile team, I became the person responsible for what shipped and how well it was built. It was my first real step from engineering into management.
Approved, reviewed and controlled all code from the in‑house iOS team
Spotted flaws and potential problems before they reached users
Designed solutions based on design patterns and good practices
Worked closely with stakeholders to deliver on time and meet every requirement

iOS and Web DeveloperBuilding the foundations every app would run on.
I started by maintaining apps built by outsourcing companies, and soon became the lead developer for every app the company published. I wrote the internal framework in Objective‑C and Swift that all of them shared, and brought in the tooling that made releases repeatable.
99.9%crash‑free users, achieved on every app
Maintained the apps built by outsourcing companies before the in‑house team existed
Acted as lead developer for all of the company's apps
Created the shared iOS framework: versioning, networking, advertising, parsing, analytics and more
Introduced CocoaPods and Fastlane, plus a private repository holding every module
Developed and maintained the company's websites and internal tools

2000 — 2005 · UNIVERSIDAD LA SALLE, MÉXICO
Where it startedBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
Five years of computer engineering in Mexico gave me the foundations I still lean on. Everything that came after, from writing apps to leading teams to running a product, grew from here. And the circuits never really went away.
